Tuesday, August 24 is the last day to register to vote for the Primary Election.
Tuesday, September 7 is the deadline to request an Absentee Ballot: call 301-430-8020. You may apply for a late Absentee Ballot on or after Wednesday, September 8: call 301-430-8020. To find your voting location, look at your voter registration card, call 301-430-2080 or click here. ANY registered voter CAN vote for School Board in the Primary Election. School Board is a non-partisan position, so the names of all candidates will appear on both the Democratic and Republican primary ballots. Those not registered as a Democrat or Repbulican (ex. Independent, Unaffiliated, Green, etc.) will recieve a non-partisan ballot to vote for School Board. Primary Election Early Voting will take place Friday, September 3 through Thursday, September 9 (except Sunday, Sept. 5) from 10am until 8pm.
Registered voters may vote at any of the following early voting sites: Wayne K. Curry Sports and Learning Center, College Park Community Center, Bowie Library, Upper Marlboto Community Center, Oxon Hill Libarary. Click here for the full address of each site.
